To let you know what he's talking about, I'll used "Spider-man" as a reference.  Marvel
comics is telling the "Spider-man" story with Peter Parker, MJ, Aunt May, etc. and
Peter becomes Spider-man.  In Marvel's "What if...?" series, the writer is
allowed to explore what might happen if Peter Parker decided to become a villian,
or MJ died, etc.

Whatever Yumi-sensei writes (she gets the old "sensei" title for being an author),
it won't be canon to the manga.  I do think it is cool that Fujishima-sensei is doing
the art for the novel though.
