Not that it will matter, but I wrote and actual s-mail letter and sent it to Media
Blasters BEGGING them to do the subtitles right.  That included using all of the Japanese
honorifics in said subtitles whether they used them in the dubs or not.  That
also included having accurate subtitles and not domesticated ones. 

I wish that Media Blasters would get flooded with similar letters to get the point
otherwise I fear they will just do their normal stuff and quite frankly, I don't think
I'll support that.  Anime and manga is WAY to expensive to just throw away money
on crap titles or even good titles done like crap. 

As for why MB got the title (which was a shocking and disappointing event for me),
they ponied up a ton of cash.  For MB, "Aa! Megami-sama" is a loss leader title. 
They've stated it will take at least 2-years before the title turns a profit.  So
they
are hoping to improve their brand image by scoring such a high profile, well liked
title.  If they hope to truly succeed, they'll go all out and REALLY do this right,
not only in subtitles, but in the dubs and in the extras.
