Rating of first episode just out : 3.8%.  Pretty good for
a mid-night anime, but it's the first episode, which in
theory should be better than later episodes.

Rating of 2nd-5th episodes will be released next month.

This TV series is scheduled for 2 seasons, that is, 24-
26 episodes.  It will require extreme good response in 
the sales of goods that can prolong the seires, which 
is not likely.

Below is my ranting, and is IMHO only:

- When OVA came out 10+ years ago, there is only a few
anime having the same theme : powerful goddesses / faries
/ magical girls living with the main male lead.  However,
there are many similar theme anime series in the past 
decade.  I do not see how this TV series can attract more
new fans other than the oiginal AMG lovers.   

- The drawings of the OVA was very good.  This TV series
is not better than the OVA.  E.g. Megumi's hair.  TV 
series is having a much tighter schedule than OVA, so 
they must spend less effort on the drawings per episode.

- Comparing with other midnight TV anime series.  I would
like to compare AMG with : Negima, Starship Operator, Air.
 - AMG Vs. Negima
   Similar level of simple drawings.  Story of Negima is 
   new, but the storyline of AMG is predictable except for
   minor details.  I rate AMG:Negima as 5:6
 - AMG Vs. Starship Operator
   Very different kind of anime.  SSO is better in drawings
   and story.  I rate AMG:SSO 5:7
 - AMG Vs. Air
   Since Air is based on the game, if you have play the 
   game you should be familiar with the story.  Same as
   the predictability of AMG.  However, the level of 
   drawings is much much better than AMG.  Just look at 
   the hairs of the female characters, the scene of the 
   skys, etc.  I rate AMG:Air 5:8
 In conclusion, AMG is not better than other same period 
 midnight anime.

- Being a megami devotee, I found it very strange that 
there is no incentive for me to urgently pursuit this 
TV series.  I should be waiting very intently for the
next episode, but I found I can even forget to watch 
the episodes.....

- For existing daytime TV anime series, I highly 
recommend Keroro Gunsou, very very funny !
