I just stated those examples to prove that the TV
series will have a good chance unless some
extraordianry BAD LUCK comes then I will blame
you...j/k ^_^;;;;;

I could also point out other series(DBZ, ranma 1/2,
Tenchi, Rurouni Kenshin) that did good both in manga
and anime dept. Besides I'm not very familiar with the
series you mentioned Fruits basket and Bubble gum 2040
although I have heard of these titles, I'm not too
sure thay are in the same leauge with RK,Eva and AMG
etc. if you still have doubts then go ahead...mail me
privately ANB until then...

excuse my english since it's not my first langguage
and it has been a while since I last made a message
this long. I hope your not offended by me calling you
"nerd boy" the astro just slipped out :)

MY FAITH HOLDS ME. :P
