This is excellent news and I hope this is something the R1 licensor scores.  FUNimation
did it for "Fruits Basket", so it isn't impossible to do.

Anyway, I love the idea of actually showing Keiichi striking out and Belldandy prior
to answering Keiichi's call.  I'm really getting a great feeling about this anime!
