This is a shame.
But it should be no surprise. We are a decade or more removed from AMS'
salad days in 1991-93. IIRC, it was one of the top five mangas in Japan
during the first half of the nineties. Sales of AMS have gone down, I
am sure, as a percentage of Dark Horse Comics' totals as the early 90's
Anime generation has passed into history.
Thankfully, Fujishima still has a few years of AMS in him, so we'll
still get the Norns' adventures in the tankoubans. In addition, there
is the new TV series, so that should help keep the tradition alive.
