"Haibane Renmei"<---means what exactly or is it a name?

They changed quite a lot from Haibane Renmei to Ailes Grise...
It's quite a tearful *sob started watching it because I was borned then before I knew
it I had finished the "marathon" 9pm-3:00am ^_^
