Actually, if you read carefully, both statements 
are the same.  

There WAS a TV series "Adventure of Mini-Goddess".
Okamura Akemi stood in for Inoue Kikuko for the 
early part of that TV series.

There will be a new AMG TV series.  Nothing is finalized
yet.

These 2 series are un-related.
