Just a word of advice on this...

Don't get it... the US release of this I mean...
See if you can find a multi region release with US subtitles (though you
will likely not get the english dub with it... and that's actually one of
the only dubs that I've ever thought was done halfway okay (owing to the
fact that the keiichi and Belldandy english voice actors are husband and
wife helped I think)

Anyway, for the US release, the image quality is atrocious.. I think that
they just took the vcr data and put it to a dvd... no real quality encoding.
I mean when you watch the first episode on the animeigo pressing you'll see
that when they show the telephone in Keiichi's room that he's using to
answer the phone calls, that the telephone line is pixelated to the point of
disappearing into an unrecognizable blur, and that the color is all messed
up and yellowed out terribly. I only know this because I've seen a multi
region dvd version (can't remember the manufacturer but it was not
animeigo.. I think it was a chinese version)... But the image quality was
heads and shoulders above the US release. Everything was sharp, crisp and
clear... far clearer and cleaner than the Animeigo version
