Unlike Megami Sama where characters don't experience tragic trauma deaths of 
their beloved ones.Sakura Taisen is a tragedy created by Kyosuke Fujishima 
himself.
 

Basically story is about a group of females fighting off demons and monsters 
who intend to destroy Earth.Setting is about early 1915 onwards.
 

Ages range about 6 years old to late teens.Girls here are either orphans who 
lost 1 or both parents or being forced to leave their parents.They have 
strong psychic powers which separates them from normal girls.
 


Tokyo Team :

Sakura Shinguchi - Age 15-16. Her Dad Kazuma was killed in the Battle with 
Monsters when she was about 8-9 years old.
 

Maria Tacabana -Russian who is About 20 years old.Her mother died after her 
birth and Dad was killed by Czarist troops when she was about 9-10 years 
old.
 

Li Ko Ran - Her parents were killed when a city was burnt to ground and she 
was the only survivor at age about 6 years old.
 

Kannan - An Okinawan native age about 19 years old.Her mother also died when 
she was born and her dad was killed by his enemies during late teens.
 

Sumire Kanzaki - Age about 15 years old.Mother died when she was about 7 
years old.
 

Orihime - Age about 17 years old.Mum is an Itaian who died when she was about 
5 years old while her dad was driven away by her Mum's family who despise him 
for being poor.Orihime just meet up with her dad.   
 

Reni - orphan age about 16 years old.Her trauma for witnessing her parents 
were killed by monsters result in being emotionless.
 

Iris - French girl and youngest of the group.Age about 9 years.Despite her 
parents love and protecting her from Being ostracised by French public who 
consider her as a monster for having strong psychic abilities like Jedi 
Knight powers.Being forced to live in a dungeon due to public pressure and 
finally being taken away by mentor Aayame to Tokyo.
 

Ayame - Early twenties and being mentor to a/m girls who are willingly to 
stay together with each other because of their psychic powers.Ayame died and 
younger sister Kaede took over her duties of a mentor to the girls.
 

Ichiro Ohgami - Age late teens and a naval officer.He has pyschic powers but 
not as strong as the girls.Being chosen to lead the girls into battle with 
demons and monsters.Being thorn among roses,girls are willingly do things for 
him with little lust and flirt especially from young Iris.
 


Paris Team

Demons and monsters having failed in their Tokyo attack.They started to have 
another 2nd front and that is to attack Paris.Ichiro Ohgami just happen to be 
send there for naval training and he was appointed to be the leader of 
hurriedly assembled Paris Team whose girls also have psychic powers.
 

Hanabi - About 16 years old.Her fiance was killed by monsters on the day of 
their wedding including her parents.
 

Glyceine - Same age with Hanabi and both are best of friends.Bridesmaid for 
Hanabi's wedding.Her parents were also killed in the same wedding.
 

Erica - Age about 15 years old.A trainee nun and also orphan.

Lobelia - Age about 20.Sentenced to death for her deadly crimes after her 
parents death.Given a chance to be redeem from death by using her psychic 
powers to defend Paris.
 

Coquelicot - Dad is Vietnamnese and Mum is French.Age about 9 live with 
circus after parents death.Her hobby is to feed circus animals whatever money 
she earns.
 

New York Team

Monsters and Demons decide to attack New York at the same time.Still 
recruting for psychic power girls after having Ratchet and Gemini whose 
parents also passed away.Both age about 18 years old.
