Stainless Steel Rat has an interesting an fairly "spot-on" view of age, and
ages. Which reminds me that I once met Harry Harrison at a science fiction
convention at Kansas City Missouri some time ago. I met him in this fashion:
  He and I were standing next to each other in a mens room, pissing away. And
he turned his head ever so slightly to me and said, "Did you ever notice that
the older you get, the longer it takes to pee?"  Well needless to say, I
hadn't noticed such a phenomenon at that point in my life, so I responded
with, "Another bloody quid down the drain."  And that was that, my one and
only encounter with the great Harry Harrison.
