Yeah, they were great in their time, but they've been offline for a few weeks 
now. I hope we get to know _something_ about chapter 178 before August.

Go watch the movie again. When Celestin shows Belldandy her memories of 
her visit to the Gate, he explains. The Gate judges lovers from _different_ 
planes of existence. Both Bell and Celestin are gods and therefore from the 
same plane. Hence, they don't qualify for judgement- as if they were lovers 
in the first place...

You mean when they opened up Belldandy to get at the virus? That was all 
part of Celestin's plan. He pushed Heaven to the point where vaccination 
was the only path left, he knew what vaccine they would use against the 
virus, and he crafted the virus to consume the vaccine and turn it into a 
codebreaker for getting into the heart of Heaven's system.
