I would like to appologize to the mailing list in general regarding this
topic.

From the getgo I should have realized when patronizing comments like "dude
dude dude dude" are being used by a person, that there's no arguing with
them and have let Sam just go on doing his thing and ignore him.

I appologize because, while trying to have a debate of facts regardign the
series that we all so dearly love... that I obviously incited Sam into a
spasm of swearing and name calling by constructing what I felt were fact
backed counter arguements to his assurtions.

To the rest of the mailing list.. I appologize for not just letting him go
after insulting me on that last exchange.

I didn't think at any point during the debate that I was being
patronizing... or that at any point I either insulted or called him a
name... but apparently Sam seems to think I did.

*shrugs and sighs*

As I have said before... myself.. I have no emotional investment in either
side of the arguement since ultimately it's Fujishima-san's story to tell as
he chooses.. and it's facts that drive my opinion on this issue.

All I can say it that rest assured.. you will never hear a comment from me
along the lines of

> Steve, go fuck a crop-thresher.

directed at anyone on this list.

I am saddened that Sam felt the need to leave the list... but so too, I am
doubly saddened that the members of this list were subjected to the swearing
and name calling that I seem to have incited out of him.

I humbly appologize.
