Hmmm.. how to put this...

Okay.. let me put my money where my mouth is on this... and be very clear.

Some while back we had a discussion on this issue... piracy.. copyright
theft..

and such.

If Iremember I think it was Mike the Bike who pointed out that my stance was
somewhat pro-piracy.. in that I believe that a free taste of something .. be
it

music... Manga .. or whatever is A-ok with me... and that so long as I buy the
product.. I am all for it.

The way I see it, AMGNN provides us a inferior digital version of the AMS!
manga... and that it just whets our appetite for the real thing and encourages
us to but the real deal when it's available.
And for new devotees... it gives them a taste of new AMS!... and makes them
into fans of it.

This was also why I supported napster... it exposed people to new music and it
gave the music industry a huge boost.

Sure.. some people were swapping files.. and people weren't paying for some
music.. but they were buying more CDs (and the music iundustry had profits go
up by four fold) because they were finding music that they'd otherwise have
never been exposed to.

But there's a big difference between a taste of the Manga... and the whole
thing.

I am all for people being exposed to AMS! and becoming fans .. and supporting
the creator and his efforts... but this site IMO.. is not the right way to do
it.

Now, some may say I'm being overly critical of it... and somewhat
hypocritical... but lemme just say this.... I never said that the whole story
should be given away like this.
