Yesssss.

Well I think that's half of the problem.  In the Manga and the OAV's, 
she dresses very nice.  Too nice as a matter of fact.  It's exactly what 
someone with an unlimited budget for nice "Ann Taylor" tastes would 
wear.  I mean there was a period in the Manga where it looked like she 
was suffering from some kind of skin condition that she was trying to 
cover up.  Granted the story and character layout had Urd as the "Sex 
Kitten" and Belldandy as the "very pretty but with an inferiority 
complex".  With Urd being a big distraction and when Skuld showed up the 
skirt lengths went from fashionably short to MAXI full.  Even in Evening 
Dress, she was drawn with very sophisticated but something a woman that 
was about 20 years older would wear.  I think over the years, Fujishima 
let Belldandy get kind of passed up in the costume department compared 
to some of the other Manga and is just now trying to catch back up. 
 Which brings me back to subject that I was trying to bring up earlier. 
 For instance, what outfit has Urd or Peorth worn that kind of stands 
out in your memory other their Goddess Uniforms?
