The SM movie is a pretty old concept, IIRC. I think Geena Davis was interested
in it, playing the part of Queen Beryl (sp?). It has long sinced passed through
development hell to the "dead" bin.

The DBZ movie is newer, I think, but I don't have much more confidence in it
getting made.

Allegedly, Fox has plans to make a Battle Angel movie, but I haven't heard any
news about it since people realized that some URL pointed to the Fox movie 
site.
