I just picked up 801 TTS Airbats ("Aozora Shoujotai")
yesterday and noticed there are several OMG
connections on this show.

If you're not familiar, it's a story about a young
flight mechanic in the Japanese Air Self Defense Force
assigned to a squadron of all-female fighter pilots.
It's a romantic comedy, and quite funny. The four
pilots are Miyuki Haneda voiced by Aya Hisakawa
(Skuld), Arisa Mitaka voiced by Ai Orikasa, Sakura
Saginomiya voiced by Kikuko Inoue (Belldandy) and Yoko
Shimorenjaku voiced by Yukana Nogami (Nozomi in
Mini-Goddess, though better know as Shaoran Li in
Cardcaptor Sakura).

The romantic triangle, if put in Tenchi terms, has the
mechanic in the Tenchi role, Aya Hisakawa's Haneda in
the Ayeka role, and Ai Orikasa's Mitaka in the Ryoko
role (which she actually voiced). Aya Hisakawa plays
Haneda as a fairly sane character, actually. Think of
Skuld all grown up and flying T-4s.

Ikuko Inoue's Saginomiya is great. If you've heard her
as Mami in Hand Maid May, then you'll have an idea of
her character. She has a couple of interesting quirks,
though. One is her love of gambling. She pulls a scam
of international proportions in a ramen eating contest
that is simply hilarious. She also loves to sing
karaoke. The problem is that she loves to sing
traditional Japanese ballads, and every time she gets
up to sing, everyone finds something else to do. Fast.
Of course, being Kikuko Inoue, when she does sing,
it's absolutely lovely. That doesn't mean her fellow
pilots appreciate it, though.

Having spent 8 years in the US Air Force, the Air
Force angle on the story is fascinating for me. But
getting to hear several of my favorite seiyuus in
roles I haven't heard before was the most enjoyable
thing for me.
