LOL, I suddenly get a mental image of the demon angel, the booster demon, the 
mini ninjas and sentaro all sitting around a table plotting like a Spectre 
meeting in James Bond. :)

That's not how I read Brian's post. I think he was saying that he thought 
Nidhog was an unauthorised, unasked-for parasitic system leeched onto 
Yggdrasil, which is essentially what I was thinking of when I put the 
question out there.
