It's convenient to be able to say "the Tendou sisters" when needing to be 
specific though. If one sais "the Megami" in reference to AMS it's not always 
clear that one specifically means our three sisters. We need to give them an 
honorary surname. :)

Gah, stupid rpgs! Haven't gone near the damn thing in years but nonetheless 
the above produced a "lawful neutral!" response...

I think I remember someone saying on this ML that if given the choice between 
assuming that his favourite author (ie Fujishima-san) was a creative genius 
or that he made it up as he went along, well said poster would go with the 
former.

My take on the debacle is that Fujishima-sensei has a concrete overall idea 
with the series but is less concerned with the continuity of minor details.
