Er, hey guys. Been unsubbed the last near month due to an impulse
international move. (UK universities are too expensive, had to skip the
country in the space of a week before Southern hemisphere enrollments closed
otherwise I'd have to wait for a Northern hemisphere start in September, and
I was too impatient for that. :)
Aaaanyway, this meant that, once I had a net conneciton set up, I had to go
web-hunting to find nice wallpaper of Belldandy (can't have a Belldandy-free
desktop now, can we? :), which meant going out and FINDING sites rather than
just relying Bookmarks (new set-up and all). So I've had to get reaquantied
with AMS's presence on the WWW.
First order of business, whoever's site (I know that's bad English, but
Japanese will let me do it so I'll bloody well make English do it too ;)
'Sake, Bugs and Angels' is, DUDE! Nice site! When did it pop up? It's one of
the most professional websites I've seen on the web for any subject matter.
One thing you could add though would be a very selective image gallery. How
selective? Only containing the full versions of the various images you've
used in clipped and edited form throughout the site - "you like it, you can
get it".
Speaking of which, can anyone tell me where I can get those scans of
Belldandy when she was under the spell of the Angel Eater? And that old
classic of Holy Bell above Belldandy, surrounded by zodiac signs (I have the
1000 Editions print framed, just not _here_). And what's that pencil board
with a shot of sort of the same scene, but from above (blue background, Holy
Bell's wings are pink)? Found some blurry scans of that, had never seen it
before, *gorgeous* picture. Come to think of I'd like to get some of the
promotional movie art (the various drawings of Belldandy above the Earth)
again while I'm at it.
Partridges and pear trees wouldn't be amiss, either. :)
BTW what tankoubon are we up to? 23? (Need to sort out mail order again. No
more London specialist shops, *sob*. Hopefully the web has moved on enough in
the last few years that I'll be able to order directly from Japan rather than
via the US, which always used to mean paying twice as much.)
Lalala, since I'm at university again you'll probably be hearing from me a
lot again. (Cue sarcastic comments, I know, I know. ;) See if I can't stir up
some threads. Wonder what it is about university that's so conductive to AMS?
(Apart from the setting, that is. :)
Have a good one,
Sam the man
