OK, I'll give ya that.  Although they seem to have enhanced most of the 
Kanji somehow (don't they appear sharper than the rest?).  And I wasn't 
aware that many chapters are missing; I've only recently found the 
site.  These are valid arguments, but I think their goal of allowing new 
readers into the fold could be better accomplished by providing OLDER 
chapters of the manga.  Having the most current story available mere weeks 
after its release seems unnecessary if their patrons are newbies.

Reread my post, please.  I LOVE translations on the 'net, and don't think 
they're wrong, because for a translation to work you have to own a copy of 
the text.  Dark Horse's assertion that people who want to both know what is 
happening in the Japanese storyline and be able to read manga they already 
own in their own language is a flawed and greedy idea (although I 
understand financial necessity might dictate some of their actions).  Or 
perhaps I should be more specific: text-based translations, IMHO, are OK; 
simply posting translated images of the text is as much a bootleg as images 
posted in the original Japanese.

I don't mean to start an uproar about this or anything, but unless I'm 
mistaken, I seem to recall a serious anti-SonMay discussion on here a while 
back.  How are these belldandy.net images any different?  They are consumed 
for free, in lieu of the actual product, and are distributed by someone who 
has paid no money whatsoever to the original author.  What would 
Fujishima-sama say about these scans?
