Thanks for the feedback, sir! I don't want this to be
the "'This is how Brian Welch views AMG' Technical
FAQ". I want to keep this to strictly canonical
inferences; just the facts, as it were. I'd like to
spread the credit around, and perhaps even leave my
name off the thing entirely. Maybe I could make a
special email account or something for feedback.

Actually, the TV analogy isn't mine, it's Feynman's.
Since he's the guy who came up with the whole
universal superstring idea in the first place and used
the TV analogy to describe it, I'm going to stick with
it.

Possibly, but there hasn't been an need to mention the
superstring again, either. Also, many of the key
concepts introduced in TMUrd, Urd's dual nature, power
seals, the Lord of Terror, etc. have been used in
later story lines. I don't think there's any evidence
that he considers anything in TMUrd to have been a
mistake.

Yeah, I should probably drop the reference. A whole
new can of worms, that.

Good point.

Good point, again. I'm hesitant to compare AMG to
other series here, but even in AMG there's some
evidence for this kind of thing. For example, Mara
turns the spirit guarding Megumi's apartment into a
doll, but the spirit is able to make the doll move
(though with great effort, apparently). So, it seems
that the spirit could tap into Nidhog at least, which
implies it could tap into Yggdasil as well. Or, maybe
they have their own system? I don't remember any hints
in that direction. Do you remember anything along
these lines?

Speaking of earth spirits, they seem to use a
different energy source than the goddesses. During the
moon rock bracelet episodes Belldandy? mentioned that
goddesses use energy which has been processed by
Yggdrasil. They can't utilize raw energy (what kind?
can't remember) very well. I probably should put
something in about this, as well. Has anyone taken a
hard look at differenct energy sources canonically?

Yes, similar to the situation with Peorth in child
form. What are your thoughts on Yggdrasil-Nidhog
interaction? You've got a good point about demonic
spells; the FAQ should address them more thoroughly,
even though we know next to nothing about them.

This is from the movie? I think I'm going to stick
strictly to the manga canon. Should mention that in
the intro to the FAQ.

Thanks for the comments. As always, you keep me on my
toes and get me thinking outside my comfortable little
box! ^_^
