No offence to you, you're just trying to protect
yourself, but have we really gotten to this point? We
have to consult lawyers, not about potential copyright
infringement, but because we're showing exactly the
same thing that Japanese school children can read? Are
we really that puritanical a society? And this also
addresses something Sam the Man was saying about
Fujishima not treating Belldandy with as much respect
since he's been showing her nude recently. I'm not
suggesting Sam is a puritan, far from it. But people
are quite touchy (if you'll forgive the pun) about the
nudity issue.

Yes, I'm sure that there is some fan service going on
here, but from a writing point of view, a person is
most vulnerable, both physically and emotionally, when
they're nude. Belldandy is the most peaceful creature
on earth. Or Heaven for that matter. But she is never
without power. So attacking her when she's preparing
to take a bath makes perfect sense. Also, this is far
from the first time we've seen her nude. Hand in Hand,
which finally came out in the Dark Horse comics, the
trip to the onsen, and Aoshima spying on Belldandy
taking a bath are just a few that I can think of off
the top of my head.

I think Fujishima is treating Belldandy with the same
respect he's always treated her. If anything, I
believes be loves her as much as we do. He's done
something rare and created a character so real, she
exists outside the page. She exists inside us. And
it's all due to the respect he shows to all the
characters, especially Belldandy.

Kawasaki Vulcan 750. It's no fun riding a bike with a
170 mile range when the seat only has a 40 mile range.)
