According to the FAQ on Studio Proteus' webpage, YUA
and OMG cut into each other's sales. Apparently, the
Fujishima fan in the US can only afford one comic book
a month. Since OMG sold better and was more
established, it was continued, and YUA was axed.
However, it is my understanding that DH still owns the
rights. Interestingly, 3X3 Eyes was killed twice for
slow sales. But it's back in SMB for it's third run in
the US.
