As I recall from looking up the three Norns in an encyclopedia, Urd and 
Skuld's name remained the same whilst Beldandy's was actually Verdandi 
(apparently it was altered in order for easier prounciation for the 
Japanese.)

Also the name Verdandi means 'being', Urd's 'destiny' and Skuld was
