I apologize for the blue-on-blue. The site design is rather old, and as a
matter of fact within the week the "new" version of Nekomi Kodai will be
online, this time with better control over the style of the site (CSS).
(Before, I did not use CSS so changing the style of every page once I
realized how difficult it was to read would've been virtually impossible).
You raise some good points about the Hild/Belldandy power-level thing; I had
forgotten about the power limiters, for one thing. Still, it's significant to
me that Belldandy could STILL match Hild at that reduced level; a lesser god
would probably have been zapped into whatever strange creature that poor
mouse was.
Also, if you want to consider the movie part of canon (hey, Fujishima DID
have a part in writing it), Belldandy displays sheer amounts of power at a
few points; the Gungnir scene in particular springs to mind. (I will avoid
going into more detail for those who have yet to see the movie).
Anyway. Regardless of Belldandy's true ancestry, it's clear that she's
definitely one of the most powerful beings in the entire Heaven hierarchy.
