What I did was to download a well-arranged MIDI 
from one of the numerous anime MIDI sites and used 
a music editor (such as Noteworthy Composer, 
http://www.ntworthy.com) to view the MIDI in 
notation format. If you can read music well, it's 
not too hard to pick out the melody. Analyzing the 
chords is a bit trickier; you have to find the bass 
line and the harmony voicings.
