With the last issue ending AMG it will be interesting
if SMB! can keep up the retail sales. Shadow Star is
my favorite too!
I already knew Seraphic Feather's degenerating storyline.
It just really sucks that the first 3 chapters were the best
it gets and thank goodness it's a relatively short manga
with I think only 5 volumes. And I have always loved What's
Michael?.
I too was greatly surprised that SMB! picked up CLUB 9.
I was hoping they might pick up I's or DNA2. I think it
also would have been great if they did some more Otomo
short stories. I won't drop SMB!, because SP/DH does
such a great job. I honestly wish translated manga
was doing as well as the anime video industry. The only
growth I see in the translated manga industry is in
shoujo. Female anime fans want to read manga, guys
just like the anime. All the male manga fans I know
have enjoyed anime for over 10 years, none of the
newbies are interested, or at least not interested enough
to spend money on it.
3x3 Eyes first 2 storyarcs are covered in the GN Curse of the Gesu
and House of the Demons. These stories also coincide with the
first 2 OAVs.
Does anyone know at what point in the manga series the second
3x3 Eyes OAV series takes place? Rewatching the OAVs and
knowing the manga's popularity made me wonder, is it because
of the violence level that 3x3 Eyes never got made into a TV show?
Well in about 3 weeks we can all form our opinions on CLUB 9.
