Hi

More scans from Afternoon on:

I am trying some different software for enhancing and transferring the
images. The first is MGI's semi-freeware and scans directly to JPEG
format and web sizes automatically. It produces smaller file sizes but
does not allow for enhancements. The second is some Adobe software
which allow for enhancements but results in huge file sizes; I resolve
it by importing to JPEG format and reducing using MGI to web size if
it appears still too large. This is very time consuming and I don't
know if enough people can discern the difference in quality to make
it worthwhile to use the larger format. Feedback please (privately).

Back to the issue...I think Urd and Skuld have finally met their match
in game playing. Takano seems to be a real Mah-Jong fanatic and can
play the game quite well it seems as she was able to set up everything
in a few seconds. Also, she seems to be one of the most attractive
looking (normal??) mortal characters in the whole series. She seems
not to notice Peorth's costume (or lack there-of), what final
conclusions has come with (privately) with Keiichi's situation
based on her now somewhat limited encounters with the Megami?
At first she thought it was a weird religious convent or commune,
but Keiichi quickly shot that down by pointing out there were no
shaven heads. Belldandy (of course!!!) has made a good impression,
but Urd appears to have been a little rude (being Urd) which has
been readily blown off by Takano when she realized she had some fresh
Mah-Jong victims to target. Has anyone else read this issue? I
haven't been able to puzzle out a lot of the private dialogue between
Takano and Belldandy. I am suprised that as long as Urd and Skuld
have been on earth that they haven't encountered Mah-Jong before, its
very pervasive in Asia, a lot of jokes on TV and other media forms
revolve around it. The funniest Taiwanese program I ever saw revolved
around a relation visiting from Hong Kong and being victimized by
TaiPei rules until he caught on and introduced Hong Kong rules.
