Well there's a subtle point there: she said it was her first time
wearing a swimsuit, and her first time at the Ocean. But, she
swam like a fish, successfully rescuing K1. Now having other
energy sources besides a human metabolism might help...
But still it begs the question, where did she learn to swim,
what was she wearing at the time, and did she then have a human form?
Several hypothesis about the megami social system and mores might
be based on various answers. One idea suggests that "swam like a fish"
is more than a metaphor; another suggests that megami have non-human
body-modesty taboos.
