Black and white most of the time.  I'm not sure if strips is quite the right 
word here.  Manga in general is black and white most of the time there does
tend to be the occasional colour page.  The pages aren't always white either
many publications use a different colour paper for the different titles within
it so one title may be on pink paper another yellow etc. so some manga becomes
like black and yellow.  When manga is reprinted in it's own collections it
tends to be black and white with a colour cover (pink and yellow paper are not
uses in the collections).  The collections don't always have the few colour
pages that were published prior. 

BTW on my earlier rant Chris (section9) may not be included in it if he doesn't
watch the untranslated stuff shown without permission at the cons he's attended.
