Out of that bunch Cherry is definitely the most Belldandy-like -- as far as
I've seen anyway. But only in the sense that glass looks more like diamond

She certainly acts dense often -- but don't you think there are strong hints
here and there that she's deeper than what we see on the surface?
Particularly the initial scene when she wakes up from the cryo-pod-thingie
and there's kind of a spooky sequence with glowing eyes. Well again I've
only seen the first tape so don't give anything away!! ^_^

And . . . as a matter of fact I didn't know that until you mentioned it,
which comes as a total shock. Since AMG I've always been able to pick out
her voice by ear -- but this time I completely missed it. (!) Maybe I was
thrown by the role. She must have had fun doing it. Cool, a reason to go
back and watch the tape again. ^_^

Yes they're not TECHNICALLY magical but they have super-powers which
qualifies them eminently in my book. ^_^ I don't know about girls in YOUR
neck of the woods but ordinary girls around HERE can't chuck severed tops of
buildings at fleeing cars with the exact precision required to wreck the car
without harming the occupant. ^_^
