My take on recent anime review :

* BGC 2040 (TV)
  Completely not related to the previous OVA series.  Background is similar,
  but the plot/story is different.  IMHO, the blonde Nene is much cuter than
  the old redhead.  Only wish they will finish the story in the coming OVA.
  Recommended.

* Metylancer (OVA)
  Some of the character design is good, some are not.  The release of the
  episodes are a little bit too slow.   So-so.

* Mamotte Shugogetten (TV)
  AMG clone with slightly different setting.  Personally I found Ryuon too
  silly to parody Urd.  The only cute character in the anime is Risu.  She
  is much more cuter than Shaorin.  I now have a Risu figure sitting on the
  work bench on my office desk.  ^_^;        Not recommended.

* Card Captor Sakura (TV)
  IMHO, the best maho shoujo seires in recent years.  Both Sakura (Kinomoto/
  Tange) did a great job.  Her "Hyayan", "Heeee", etc. are very cute.
  Normally I hate Clamp's character design.  Sakura is the only exception !
  A Must Watch series.

* Taiho Special TV seires
  Slightly better than the normal TV series, and follow the original manga
  more.  Recommended

* Cyber Formula Sin (4th OVA series)
  After 1 TV seires and 3 OVA series, I still found this anime interesting.
  Maybe I like racing anime, as I also like the very old Grand Prix no Washu
  TV series.  Can Kaga Shotarou overcome the monster machine ?  Can he make
  the main character Hayato lost his championship ?  Vol.5 is coming !
  Recommended.

* Master Keaton (TV+OVA)
  First 20+ episodes are TV, then the following episodes are OVA.  At first
I
  thought this will be a soldier anime, but it manifest into a good
  detective/adventure/drama series.  A little bit like MacGuyver.
  Recommended.

* Kodomo no Omocha (TV)
  I still have not finish the junior high school hen.  A very touching
series
  about the life of a hyper-active childol (child-idol).  Kurada Sana make
me
  think of Maeda Ai, the real life childol.  Ai-chan is very, very cute.
  Highly recommended.

* Yamamoto Yohko (TV)
  Not releated to the previous 2 OVA series.  This time they have more
  interesting characters : the little cat-eye girl, Yamamoto Yohsuke, etc.
  They have some good plots too, like Ayano Elizabeth converted to the enemy
  side.  ^_^;;  Highly recommended.

* Parallel Trouble Story : Dual !  (TV)
  At first, this is a Evangelion clone !  Then it manifest into a different
  thing.  Defintely Kajishima's style.  Highly recommended.

* Detective Conan (TV)
  Interesting detective stories.  The double episodes introducing Haibara Ai
  are very good both in plot and character development.  I still not have
  the chance to watch the famous Two-Mix episodes !  Conan meet Takayama
  Minami !!!!!  Similar to Kiki meeting Usura (sp?) !!!    Recommended.

* Cowboy Bepop (TV)
  Magnificant TV series.  The feel is very good, and the OP just suit the
  feel nicely.  "Spike-Spike-Fei-Fei"  ^_^;;;   Ed is very interesting.
  Highly recommended.
