I've heard that before...but others from Singapore have usually stepped up
and said "you can find the originals if you look hard enough."  I hope some
of those people will provide specific names of places.  

If not, I agree you are in a real predicament.  All I could suggest is to
make a trip to Japan and stock up, or maybe contact Christian and see if he
can get what you are looking for.
