OK...why not...

10. Fujiko (Lupin III) : Hey, I like a challenge. And while she is
mercenary as all get out, she has a soft heart in there....somewhere.

9. Otonashi Kyouko (Mezon Ikkoku): Ok, so she's jealous, immature, and
indecisive. She's also loyal (once she makes up her mind), supportive (to
a fault) and a great cook.

8. Roppongi Akemi (Mezon Ikkoku): The flip sign of the coin. But
underneath the drunken, bohemian shell, this is a woman who knows how to
laugh at life and to enjoy it. She's a cynic at heart. I like that in a
woman :-)

7. Alice (Please Save My Earth): Ok, she isn't the most attractive gal in
the world, but she is someone who feels emotions keenly - hers and other
peoples'. And while she spends a great deal of time being confused by what
is going on around her, she does seem to deal with it very well nonetheless.

6. Maris (The Supergirl/Maris the Chojo): Boy...am I getting obscure or
what? On this list for no other reason than I like the idea of going home
and saying, "Honey, how about we take off those bracers and I'll introduce
you to my clients..."

5. Yoriko (Taiho Shichauzo): She's cute, she's available (last I checked)
and she knows absolutely EVERYTHING that is going on in that department.
If I were the Chief, I would forget about the dynamic duo and focus on
the chronic chatterbox.

4. Belldandy (Aa, Megamisama): When push comes to shove, she is the only
one of the group that I think I would be able to sit down and TALK to after
a hard day at work. Urd and Skuld have their strengths as well, but for
plain simple relationships...there's no goddess like this goddess.

3. Ukyou (Ranma 1/2): I knew I had to include at least one of the many
ladies from the Ranma-verse. But I had a hard time picking one, frankly,
since the propensity for getting the c**p beat out of you (either by
prospective boyfriends or the lovely young lady herself) seems to increase
with the overall attractiveness of the potential mate. Ultimately, our
lady of Okonomiyaki seems the most stable...

2. Sawanoguchi Sae (MahouTsukaiTai): Give that girl a few more years and
Abu-san will KNOW he's outclassed. Bit of a ditz, but that'll improve as
she gains in self-confidence. Akane suffers from Sexpot syndrome - nobody
will ever take her seriously - and Nanaka is in love with Abu for the
foreseeable future...she's gonna have some BAGGAGE when she grows out of it.

1. Sana's Mother (Kodocha): Look...she manages to deal with Sana on a
daily basis, takes in her temper tantrums, her epiliptic fits, and her
overacting without batting an eye, and still manages to keep her sense of
humor enough to force her publisher to chase her around town trying to get
ahold of the latest manuscript. Plus she has a squirrel in her hair. THIS
is a woman who is unphased by convention.
