I made a mistake.  The last issues were October and September
Afternoons, not August and September...  Blame it on the way Japanese
publishers date their magazines.

Telephone card gift campaign from last issue was still going on.

Fujishima-sensei's recent life: As written last month, I went to _that_
event that hundreds of thousands went.  There were lots of people. 
Everybody, good job in such heat.  I looked through the
Sakura-something/Megami-something/Taiho-something circles.  Lots of
books were made and I somehow felt delighted.  I wasn't in a situation
to watch cosplay so I gave up.  I wanted to see it.

Ah! Megami-sama Ch.135 "Leader of Hell that She is"

The story so far: Urd's Mother, the Dai-Makai-chou, is coming for a
visit.

First page: Urd with wings, one white and one black.  Caption: My mom is
inside me.

Hild arrives with spectacular effect (blowing up a temple bell in the
process).  She hugs "Urd-chaaaan!  Long time..."  Urd complaints that
she should have come more quietly.  Hild says she has already limited
her power, otherwise the whole town would have been blown away. 
Belldandy told K1 that Hild's hair decorations are probably all
magic-limiters.

Hild then proceeds to meet Belldandy and Skuld.  Apparaently she has not
met them before.  She says, "You two look just like _him_!!" and hugs
them.  Belldandy starts to greet her but she is already on to K1.  Skuld
comments that Hild's not listening to other people is just like Urd.

Hild held K1 and he becomes embarrassed.  She said, "You are so cute!  I
like boys like you..."  Then adds, "I'd like to see behind these gentle
eyes what _desires_ are hiding."  K1 is shocked.

Hild turns to Peorth.  "You are cute too!"  But Peorth only says,
"please cut that out."

"...so you are telling me to restore you, right?"  Hild says, supposedly
after some explanation.  Peorth says, "Of course."  "Well, that is not a
problem, I guess," Hild ponders.  Peorth silently rejoices, but Hild
goes on to say, "if I do that for you, will Urd come over to Makai for
me?"  Everyone is shocked, except Urd who already saw that coming. 
Peorth started shouting that Hild is in no position to make conditions:
"it is your side that--"

"made a mistake, you are to say?"  Hild puts on an expression that
silented Peorth.  "Well, the matter of cracking into Yggdrasil has
already been cleanly taken care of.  As for the fight between gods and
devils, there is no rule as long as life is not taken.  The result is
only between the individuals involved, and you know that, don't you?"
Peorth cannot offer a response.  Hild goes on, "So, I have no
responsibility in this, and I have no intention to take any.  BUT, since
my lovely daughter asked, I thought, 'I _could_ do something, given the
right terms,' do you understand?"  Peorth is chilled by her stare. "Am I
incorrect?" Hild asks again.  Peorth has to admit Hild is right.

"So, what do you say, Urd-chan?"  Hild asks.

"Sorry, Peorth," Urd says, "I cannot accept these terms."

Next issue: Hild's second request.  And her true nature...  It is scary.

4 goddesses and a demon.  Plus robot, plus android, plus, if I am not
mistaken, tens of ninjas, and there is also a giant octopus, and
Dai-Makai-cho next...  When the priest of this temple comes back to a
place like this, where will he go for training next...  If he ends up
going to space, I would like to see "Ah! Space-Priest-sama!" serialized.
