Looked at Volume 17 again. Could have sworn it was a four pointed star.
Nevertheless, it's not that important.

If #2 contention were true, would that mean that Urodo and Velsper were
related somehow? Second, Mara's markings are different enough to show a
radical difference in job description ^_^. Velsper's and Hild's marking are
less so. Methinks he should have used the twin slash marks.
It also might explain

Mara did know ("Sympathy for the Devil"), did she not?
Also, think about this:
