Urd and Pirotess (Record of Lodoss Wars) are almost dead ringers for each

other, except for the ears, of course!  Of course, Pirotess isn't exactly
 a
hero and nowhere near a lead role, but she's certainly way cool.

Without a doubt, she one of the more memorable characters in that, or any

series.  I kinda liked the way that although she was supposed to be evil 
at
heart, in the end (well, okay, episode 8 or 9), her heart overcame the ha
tred
inherent in her heart.  


Too bad Ashram was such a punk and made her sacrifice worth nothing.  Or 
is it
Carla's fault?
