In regards to the Babble fish? :) A yellow leech-like fish that feeds off
the brainwaves of those around it and excretes the resulting matrix to the
host. The end result is that if you stuck a babel fish in your ear, you can
understand any language. (Except for extremely primitive ones.)

That would come in handy during trips to other countries. ^_^;; Though a
pity it isn't two-way.

I think God vanished in a puff of logic after some dude argued that
something as mind-bogglingly complex and useful as the babel-fish could not
have possibly evolved on its own and thus is proof that God exists.
However, since actual proof of the existence of God contradicts or disputes
the faith in God, then in actuality, God cannot exist if the proof of the
existence of God exists. (Or something along those lines). 

Kinda goes along the logical argument of God being omnipotent and God being
able to make a boulder he cannot lift.
