"Don't bother me." muttered Vincent from some distance away. "I'm trying to
start the BMW." *Engine Roar* "Uh... I think I got it moving."

He turned around and asked, "Hey! Do any of you want me to get anything from
town?"

"What?" Fear gripped Vincent. "No no no. I asked Keiichi for his keys to his
BMW. He's busy and he wanted me to get a gift for Belldandy. I'm not
supposed to tell anyone... umm... oops?"

Belldandy stood up, her eyes vacant and sad.

"Did I do something wrong?" pleaded Vincent as the menacing horde edged
closer to him.

After a brief moment, the contented horde moved away and returned to their
respective places of restful repose. Vincent was last seen chugging away on
the BMW, muttering, "Medic, I need a medic. Keiichi can go get the gift
himself."

Belldandy shook her head, in silent reproach to the violent horde. The
now-silent horde looked bashful and sweaty round the collars.

The fuming Skuld was swearing like a pirate, biting off remarks about
exploding Keiichi into smithereens or using him as an experimental component
in one of her many experiments. Urd and Peorth looked on and yawned.
