exactly ^_^
Even a bit deteriorated CHS still beats VCD...
(even by using the new VCD technology... I'd still go for VHS or
SHVS....)

VCD may be dangerous to your eyes (LOL)
But it really doesn't require a professional to tell anyone the quality
difference, I think.

got to agree with CuSO4 here.
(just try it, and compare it... and see for yourself... quite evident...
just pop in the same anime into a relatively large screen, and compare
it yourself..._

(I've never seen a gold mass produced VCD...? where?) This is
interesting...
How the pick up, and failure rate for pressing?

CDR....???? this is crazy... CD-Rs DO DETERIORATE.... since when did you
start burning your CD-Rs, weizhi@pacific.net.sg????? No different then
VHS, since they both eventually deteriorate.... well, maybe not as fast
as VHS.....

...and uhmmm... weizhi@pacific.net.sg... the VC do NOT come (sold,
retailed) in green, blue, etc... those are hand made... and in some
countries and region, it's copyright violation. (even if it's for
personal viewing....) So I wouldn't scream too loud about it (one of the
rules on the ML is, you can't support pirate publicly here.)

exactly., as CuSO4 pointed out for me, what the fans (should) care about
is, does that money go to the ANIME CREATORS, to support their life, and
help them make another new title in the future. No money to creators=no
more anime from them. (simple, isn't it?)

One reason why I don't buy anything from Nintendo or Konami... they seem
to love killing off fans, and ripping them off....

(I have yet to see a CD-R VCD for retail sale... ^_^;;;)

I thought so too.....
DVD might be popular for the "mass, the public, etc"... but NOT for the
anime fans.... at least, not in this country...... not much DVD anime
software anyway... (compared to LD...)

Maybe this guy needs a bigger screen, or a eye check up..... no
kidding... really... try comparing them again.... (not only picture
quality, but sound too..... a nice stereo surround speaker would be nice
to test it....)
