<< Hi all,
I hope you don't mind me picking your brains for work purposes. Our young
adult librarian is trying to spend some money in her video budget by the
end of the fiscal year. I suggested she add some Anime to the collection
(I'm the head of the AV department) Unfortunately since most Anime is not
rated by the MP-whatever ratings we kind of have to wing it. YA encompases
about grades6-12, I thought the AMG series would be fine for that. Anyone
agree or disagree? >>
AMG would be very age appropriate for children grades 6-12, and certainly more
productive than some of the nonsense on TV nowadays. By that, I mean, really
brainless programming such as MMPR, and other live action shows that seem to
plague TV nowadays. Certainly, Sailor Moon has opened the forum to AMG,
Pokemon, and many more anime. Although Ranma would still be in the PG-13
section.
