I own the subbed version of episode 1, and all later episodes are
dubbed. I really didn't care back then whether it was subbed or dubbed,
so I didn't even bother to see which version I was buying when I picked
up episode 1. I happened to get the subbed. I was surprised, because I
didn't know there were any subs (I was an anime newbie then). Then I
picked up episodes 2, 3, and 5 without looking at which versions I was
getting... I thought it was going to be subbed as well (they were out of
4). Doh. Got the dubbed. I didn't care, except that the pictures
didn't line up when I put them up neatly on my shelf. So I got episode
4 just so that the pictures line up from 2-5. :) I didn't care if it
was subbed or dubbed. Now, however, I wish I had gotten all subbed. I
just like it better. I think the Japanese language is just cool to
listen to. My friends like dubbed, they said, because they can pay
attention to the picture (i.e., stare at the goddesses ;) ) instead of
busily reading the subtitles. Well, there you have it -- too much
information than asked. :)
