It is often quiet in late fall/winter and late sprint/summer... Many people
are off on vacations or traveling, many students are busy preparing for
finals. It's pretty usual.

Students make up a large part of ML readers, traffic usually picks up
at the beginning of the semester (which incidently correspondes with people
getting back to work from vacations), when new readers subscribe and bring
those old questions again and re-heat the discussions.
