According to the Sakura Times website

"Sega's PC software division has announced on 25th September that
Sakura Wars 1 will be released on Windows 95/98 platform. No specific
imformations such as release date or whether new feature will be added
has given. This news is fantastic, especially for foreign Sakura fans
because Sega
has already abondoned overseas support of Sega Saturn platform. 
Note:Please wait for more announcement from Sega. We will update as
soon as we get it."

Jubilation! I hope this will spark more interest in ST!!
