Ok, I've just been thinking about something, and its
got me really spooked.
Y'know that song
"The grand old duke of york,
he had ten thousand men
He marched them up to the top of the hill
and he marched them down again
(and this is where we get to the bit thats spooking me)
And when they were up they were up,
and when they were down they were down
---> And when they wereonly halfway up, they were neither up nor down."
This has me SPOOKED people!
Where in the WORLD are theise men?
I mean "up they were up" I understand.
"Down they were down" likewise,
But where ARE you when, if, having climbed halfway
up a friggin' hill you're not actually UP at all?
I mean, you may not be ALL the way up,
but y'gotta be at least _partly_ up, no?
The only RATIONAL explaination I can find is that this
strange, phenominal hill
_starts below sea level_ and finishes above sea level,
and theise ten thousand men all start underwater,
get to SEALEVEL (which is halfway up, neither up nor down)
and then go to the top of the hill.
They must be some kind of elete navy seals or something!
People! Fear for your LIVES!
WHO IS THIS DUKE?
WHERE DID HE GET TEN _THOUSAND_ TRAINED NAVY SEALS?
What is his sinister motive for having theise trained men?
We're doomed! Doomed I tells ya, doomed!
Flee for you lives! Aaaaahgghhggh!
