Indeed, I'll have to go with Sam on this one. Bell has already stated that she no

longer has any real divine responsibilities once the contract with Keiichi was
finalized (or at least that's how Dark Horse translated it). The stories presented

so far also have shown the Goddesses to be as infallable as any human. In some
ways, they're more human than many humans I know. I also still contend that the
Goddesses are at least partially mortal themselves. Beyond their powers and place

of origin, there doesn't appear to be much that much difference between how they
live their lives and humans live theirs to make a long term relationship
impossible.

That's certainly one of the theories I've put forth. If it wasn't Kamisama's doing

then at the least it's clear that Belldandy intended them to meet up again in the

future and was probably aware of the repercussions of her past actions and what it

might lead to.

I think it's clear that's what Belldandy wants regardless and Kamisama seems to
not have a problem with it.
