More uninteresting discussion, so anybody looking for Deep Meaningful

It was suggested recently that our beloved three sisters might be the only
Goddesses (excepting Peorth of course) and that one of them may inherit
Kami-sama's job, as they are his daugthers.

I think this is nonsense!

Everything indicates that there are lots of Gods/Goddesses.
-Why have special departments (like the Goddess Relief Office) if there are
just three (or four) Goddesses?
-Why this Goddess classification system? Classification systems are
completely useless if there are fewer items to classify then there are
classes.
-Why the doublet system (linking Gods and Demons). If only a few deities
exist, they would have found an easier way to keep a balance between the
two sides.
-Supernatural beings (like the spirit in Megumi's appartment) recognize
Goddesses as a class, not as persons. Now if so few of them would be in
existance, this is very strange.
-Is there any indication that Kami-sama is the father of Urd, Belldandy and
Skuld? They never call him father!


I don't think that any of the Three (or, Kami-sama forbid, Peorth) is being
groomed to take over. Not that I think Belldandy wouldn't make a good
Supreme Being. I do like to think that there's a job waiting for Keiichi
somewhere in the Celestial organisation.
