Mostly.  It struck me that K1 is a lot like most of the 'anime guys' you
see (Tenchi, Makoto, Akito, etc.), but *doesn't* have that many conflicting
women.  K1, by the 7th or so manga, is very popular around campus.  How
much of that is due to the goddesses?  Certainly Hasegawa had a sort of
crush on him for a while, and that had nothing to do with being jealous of
Belldandy.

In other words, you would expect K1's wish to have made his life dramatically
better.  It didn't.  It changed his life, and there are many good things
about the change, notably Belldandy, but it could still have been just as
good *without* the wish.
