You see, I thought that such a fate would turn out to be bad for Gates, but
since it is turning out that he is Evil Incarnate, an agent of Beelzebub,
has the Mark of the One on his scalp ('666' in binary code), and has
actually published a vanity book ("The Road Ahead"),  not even a Demon First
Class such as Marllier could influence him. She would find herself under his
spell and working as a coder for Gates at the Campus of Darkness at Redmond,
Washington. 

Once under the control of the Evil One, not even Benpai's Japanese Good Luck
Charms could break the spell. Marlier would be forced to type code for
Windows 2000, day in, day out.

Suit yourself, Lord Raphael. However, I should remind you that this "rule
the world" stuff has been done before and is really getting to be old hat. I
mean, take a look at your examples: Alexander, Caesar, Napoleon, Hitler, Le
Quan, Croetus. The list could go on, but I'd have to write a check to
Paramount Pictures.

Besides, do you think that declaring yourself the next Ruler of the World
will get you a better table at Spago's. Think again.
